Mission

Echo is designed to make sustainable living effortless, social, and intelligent. By connecting to your Google Calendar and everyday apps, Echo gently nudges you toward eco-friendly choices—like biking instead of driving, shopping local over corporate, or choosing plant-based meals. But it doesn’t stop there—it encourages you to do it together, strengthening both your habits and your community.

With AI at its core, Echo doesn’t just track your actions—it understands your lifestyle, schedule, and context, offering personalized, doable suggestions that align with your goals and values.

This is a project born out of both passion and purpose—an opportunity to use AI not just to optimize, but to meaningfully impact how we live, connect, and take care of our planet.

My contribution

Echo is a project I’ve built from the ground up—blending my passion for design, behavioral science, and climate action into a product that feels both visionary and grounded. I’ve led everything from the initial concept and strategy to the UX, branding, illustrations, and product design, with a focus on creating something that’s not only smart but also emotionally resonant.

I shaped Echo’s personality, voice, and visual language and designed the experience to offer contextual nudges powered by AI, and built a system that turns sustainability into something easy, rewarding, and shared. From the way the product looks to how it behaves, Echo reflects a deep, thoughtful approach to making behavior change accessible, personalized, and joyful.

What is an ecological footprint?

Research

Research

An ecological footprint measures the impact of an individual, organization, or community on the environment, based on the amount of natural resources they consume and the waste they produce. It reflects how much land and water are needed to sustain their lifestyle, including food, transportation, energy use, and consumption habits.

1.5 earths

The amount of plants we need to meet the demand we currently make on nature

85%

Of the global population living in a country running a biological deficit

To build a product that genuinely supports sustainable behavior, I started by exploring the gap between intention and action—why people who care about the planet often struggle to make consistent eco-friendly choices.

I conducted qualitative research through interviews, surveys, and daily habit mapping, uncovering key motivations, emotional blockers, and behavioral patterns. The goal was to deeply understand how sustainability fits (or doesn’t fit) into people’s routines, values, and social lives—and how nudges, community, and simplicity could turn good intentions into lasting change.

Show concern of the environment

The environmental crisis is real, and people genuinely care—yet their daily actions often don’t reflect that concern.

The problem isn’t just about access to data—it’s about making sustainable behavior accessible.

Echo bridges that gap by integrating into everyday life, using AI and behavioral design to make eco-friendly choices easier, timely, and more rewarding

UX/UI for AI

Echo’s interface is designed to feel like a thoughtful, intuitive presence—a quiet layer of intelligence woven into your daily tools. Rather than forcing new behaviors, it works with your existing apps and habits, offering context-aware suggestions that feel personal, timely, and doable.

The experience adapts to your routines, learns what matters to you, and gently nudges you toward smarter choices—whether it’s biking to your next meeting, grabbing lunch from a local spot, or skipping the single-use plastic. The interface is designed to support action, not demand attention.

Echo makes sustainability feel less like a chore and more like a natural part of your life—familiar, fluid, and quietly transformative.

Sustainability becomes a social experience, making every small choice feel more connected, joyful, and impactful.
